Vernon Tool MPM In Use
Lincoln Electric, PypeServer form partnership
Lincoln Electric, Cleveland, and PypeServer Inc., Federal Way, Washington, have created a partnership under which all newly sold Vernon Tool MPM pipe profilers will come standard with PypeServer software. In addition, Lincoln Electric will support the retrofit of existing Vernon machines with PypeServer for MPM customers who wish to update their equipment with CAD import, part nesting and advanced cutting capabilities.

Mazak Optonics Headquarters
Mazak to expand headquarters
Mazak Optonics has confirmed expansion plans for their North American headquarters located in Elgin, Illinois. Mazak plans for the project to be completed in the spring of 2021, and once complete, it will bring more than 20,000 sq. ft. of additional operational facilities. The expansion will feature a new auditorium, increased capacity for parts and customer service support, a new research and development center, and additional machine tool technology areas.

Behringer GmbH acquires Vernet-Behringer
Behringer GmbH, the Kirchardt, Germany-based industrial equipment manufacturer, has taken 100 percent control of Vernet-Behringer (VB), Dijon, France. The integration of VB into the Behringer Group is part of the long-term relationship between the two companies. Vernet-Behringer makes equipment to cut, shape, drill and bend beams, plates, bars and angles.

Morf3D and Siemens collaborate
Morf3D, an El Segundo, California, company that engineers and delivers additive manufacturing solutions, is collaborating with Siemens Digital Industries Software to promote the use of AM in advanced design, engineering and production qualification of metal-based product innovations across a variety of industries. This collaboration equips Morf3D with Siemens’ end-to-end AM software solution from the Xcelerator portfolio and makes Morf3D a preferred Siemens AM partner with access to software in advance of the market. In exchange, Morf3D will provide technical feedback to enhance Siemens’ product development.

Fagor Arrasate, Willowbrook, Illinois, has broken ground on its new U.S. service facility in Portage, Indiana. The new space will allow Fagor to support North American customers with field service, spare parts, project management and engineering support.
