The Heat Treating Society re-elected Marc Glasser, Rolled Alloys’ director of metallurgical services, to its board. He will now serve through 2023. Glasser has been with Rolled Alloys since 2012 and has nearly 40 years of experience working in materials science and engineering.

Zack Morrison has joined Bystronic Inc., Hoffman Estates, Illinois, as a direct sales engineer for the Oklahoma and Kansas territories. He has over 10 years of direct manufacturing industry experience in sales management and CNC production and the skills of a consulting engineer.

Murata Machinery USA, Charlotte, North Carolina, hired two people to help the company grow its Muratec line of automated solutions. Christine Spiegel was named to a new role as strategic marketing director and Jeff Holtzapple was picked as North American sales manager for turning products.
O’Neal names new sales executive
O’Neal Steel, Birmingham, Alabama, promoted Clay Hosmer to vice president of sales and marketing. The role was previously held by Tate Forrester, who was recently promoted to president and CEO.

Mary Bopp has joined MC Machinery, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, as marketing coordinator. Bopp will be responsible for supporting the marketing department and will perform a wide variety of activities, including supporting the website, marketing automation, and event support.
Ametek adds manufacturing manager
Ametek Specialty Metal Products, Wallingford, Connecticut, chose Dylan Nestor as its new manufacturing manager for strip products. Nestor will oversee the company’s primary, finishing, shipping and receiving departments.
