Magnetic drill
Magnetic drill
Magnetic drill is safer with less maintenance
The HMD904 portable magnetic drill features a new hidden motor cord design that incorporates the cord into the drills’ motor casing and housing. This design increases the safety of the drill and reduces maintenance to a minimum. The overall height has been lowered by a 1 1/2 in., which allows the drill to fit into tighter areas. Other features include: a pilot light built into the magnet, allowing operators to more efficiently and quickly line up the pilot with the holes’ center location in low light conditions; a two-stage magnet that increases magnetic holding power by 30 percent; and an arbor system using a 5/8-in. slot drive for more rigidity, hole accuracy, positive slug ejection and quicker use of accessories.

Dual control boxes make wrapping safe
Dual control boxes make wrapping safe
TAB Industries introduced dual control boxes on its fully automated TAB Wrapper Tornado Perfect Storm wrapping systems. The dual control boxes are set on both sides of the wrapping machine to allow safe, quick, convenient access when operating in manual mode without requiring movement around the length of the system’s built-in conveyors. The dual control box option speeds and eases film roll changes while also offering extra configuration flexibility, allowing the system to fit neatly into existing packaging and shipping processes.

Sizing-dispensing system for bulk abrasives

Sizing-dispensing system for bulk abrasives
Flexicon’s sizing-dispensing system receives, scalps, stores and dispenses abrasive materials on demand, dust-free. Fed by a pneumatic conveying line, the system is equipped with an integral cyclone that separates incoming solids from the air stream. A rotary airlock isolates the pneumatic system from atmospheric pressure and meters material into a vibratory sifter that discharges on-size particles into a surge hopper. With extended vertical sides, the surge hopper stores up to 19 cubic feet (540 liters) of material, enabling the system’s flexible screw conveyor to dispense material when needed, while reducing the number of on-off cycles required for the independent pneumatic delivery system to replenish the hopper with material.
