Gooseneck fixture allows for easy out-of-position welding

The Quick Change Gooseneck welding fixture allows for easy out-of-position welding applications. No tools are needed to change positions (rotate the gooseneck) or change goosenecks; just push down, turn and lock into eight different positions. The Gooseneck is available as an option on new Lightning straight-handle 250 amp to 450 amp guns. Pre-installed jump liners will be included with this product.

Dust collector for CNC laser, plasma cutting

Gold Series X-Flo Package collectors are compact, prewired and ship fully assembled, which enables users to plug them directly into the cutting line. All internal electrical connections, controls and accessories are factory installed and ready to use upon delivery. Equipped with two, four or six HemiPleat eXtreme Gold Cone X-Flo fi lter cartridges, the collectors can handle airfl ows up to 3,000 cfm, depending on application requirements. Each fi lter cartridge enables operators to meet or exceed OSHA indoor air quality standards for most metal dusts.

Coolant costs can be reduced

The Auto Sludge Barrier is designed for steel, cast and ductile iron applications. Easily retrofitted into existing lines, the barrier effectively removes ferrous chips and fines from the coolant tank, reducing time-consuming tank cleanouts and cutting coolant costs by up to 30 percent. The barrier extends the uptime between cleanings by up to six months. The unit features a compact, portable magnetic separator that may be retrofitted into any clean tank of a coolant system.

Pulse welding with high duty cycles

The Power MIG 360MP welder from Lincoln Electric has several advanced welding features suited to metal fabrication, maintenance and repair, auto body and light industrial applications. Tool changes automated on dual-drive press brakes

A new high-capacity automatic tool changer (ATC) for dual-drive press brakes is designed to increase production levels and utilization rates while reducing setup time, especially in high-mix, low-volume environments. The ATC allows for fully automated tool setup and removal, freeing up the operator to perform other tasks. Its 107.3-ft. by 170.6-ft. storage capacity allows for tooling variation—ranging from high-runner V-dies to specialized hemming or offset tools. Up to 2-in. V-die openings and 19.7-in. lengths can be placed with the single, large-capacity tool manipulator.

Single-step weld blending and grinding

Rapid Prep XHD coarse and medium discs can solve users’ most aggressive stock removal and blending challenges. The extra heavy-duty nonwoven discs remove weld lines, weld spatter, weld discoloration and blend surfaces in a single step.
